Jane Austen’s 250th Birthday Garden Party

Jane Austen-themed garden party at the Rose Garden in honor of the author’s 250th birthday. Festivities include live readings of Jane’s works, games, photo opportunities and rose tours.

Northern Lights Music Festival Opening Night

Bent Paddle
The annual Ides of March event, in which local musicians create impromptu bands to cover unusual choices, gets a July revival. First night, July 3, “Mac Miller Lite” performs the late rapper Mac Miller, and Abe Curran sings songs he likes and thinks you will, too. In upcoming shows the subjects are Tool, Morphine, Ween, Mastodon, Brandi Carlisle, Sadé and more.
