Trump’s takeover of America not sitting well with everyone

Hundreds of area residents turned out Saturday for a series of protests against the ham-handed efforts of Trump and the confederacy of dunces in his administration who seem bent on overturning the American way of life. The local protests were part of a national day of protest against what is quickly becoming the most hated presidency and administration in the short history of this upstart country.

Across the nation millions took to the streets, making it clear to even the densest member of Trump’s dense crew of right-wing elitists that Americans are not going to lie down while he and his team of wealthy sociopaths rape the country for their own benefit.

Another day of action has been called for Saturday, April 19. Expect the protests to continue as long as anti-American Trumplicans are allowed to forge policy.

Below are photographer Scott Hebert’s thoughts on the day:

“The energy on April 5th was good and positive. I’ve been to a handful of local protests in the past few months, and it feels like the organizers are learning and adapting as the crowds and volunteer bases grow. Once the food trucks start showing up, it’s really going to turn into a party.”
