Spiderwoman Theater brings Misdemeanor Dream to Cloquet High School Friday and Saturday.

Misdemeanor Dream Fri. & Sat., March 1 & 2, 7 p.m. Cloquet High School New York ensemble Spiderwoman Theater brings their acclaimed show to Cloquet, weaving personal and community stories, both traditional and contemporary – spoken, danced and sung – and mingle the original languages from the nations of the artists (a total of five).

The Sloppy Joe Adventure Crew March 2-3 & 9-10 Zeitgeist Renegade Comedy brings back the crew with a new mysterious adventure, a high-energy show for kids and the whole family with sketches, improv, film and music, performed by some of the area’s best local adult performers.

Thistles & Shamrocks Saturday, March 2, 7 p.m. Proctor High School An evening of Scottish and Irish music and dance sponsored by the Duluth Scottish Heritage Association (DSHA). With Alyson Enderle (who recently starred as Maria in the Duluth Playhouse’s production of The Sound of Music), the musical duo Slainte Mhath (the name is the Scottish phrase for “Cheers!” or “Good health!”), the DHSA Pipe Band and the DSHA Highland Dancers.

Three Dog Night Sunday, March 3, 6:30 p.m. DECC Symphony Hall Twenty-one Top 40 hits between 1969 and 1975, including “One,” “Shambala,” “Mama Told Me Not to Come” and the one about the bullfrog. They were one of the few bands out there with understandable lyrics and you probably still know all the words. Imagine everyone in Symphony Hall singing along.

Kenny Broberg Tuesday, March 5, 7:30 p.m. UMD Weber Music Hall Matinee Musicale presents a Minnesotan who has worked with some of the world’s most respected conductors and collaborated with numerous prestigious symphonies. He released Sonatas by Medtner, Rachmaninov and Scriabin on the Steinway & Sons label in 2023.

Woodblind & special guest Wednesdays in March, 6-9 p.m. Cedar Lounge The ska duo of Jason Wussow and Veikko Lepisto performs Cedar Sessions every Wednesday in March with different special guests every week. The High 48s Thursday, March 7, 7:30 p.m. The West Theatre Since forming in northeast Minneapolis in 2006, The High 48s have been making music that combines the soulful sound of classic bluegrass with a modern attitude. They’re a band with one foot in tradition and the other in the world of music today, and one of the very few who can find an overlooked bluegrass classic in a song by M. Ward or The Clash, then throw down hard on a standard by Bill Monroe.
