The Last Polka Saturday, Nov. 25, 6 p.m. The Locker Room, Coleraine Iron Range musicians perform songs from The Band’s “The Last Waltz," though not actually polka versions. With Hobo Revival as The Band, plus Kim Nagler, Robert Klaysmat, Al Oikari, Rich Harding, Andy Gregorich, Dan Boyer, Sharon Rowbottom, Gene LaFond, Karl Sundquist, Amy Grillo, Tom and Becky Frichek, Thor Leseman and more.  

Mason Jennings Saturday, Nov. 25, 8 p.m. Sacred Heart Minnesota troubadour celebrates the release of his 16th studio album, Underneath the Roses, written in a creative burst following the death of his father and the birth of his son.

Wonderstruck Wednesdays Wednesday, Nov. 29, 7 p.m. Marshall Alworth Planetarium Wednesday shows are free at the UMD planetarium. Tonight’s subject: “Star Wars: Fact or Fiction?” What?? Oh, they’ll talk about the physics of space and laser blasters, they don’t mean the movies were documentaries.  

Them Coulee Boys Thursday, Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m. The West Theatre Folk-punk-bluegrass-rock band from Eau Claire performs conversational songs in four-part harmony with a banjo stomp and rhythm section punch that drives the audience onto the dance floor.
