John Agacki returns to Wussow's Saturday for Sea Shanties & Singalongs.

Land of Stories Nov. 16-18 Zeitgeist Shadow puppet theater featuring the work of local Ojibwe writers, visual artists and musicians, rich in visual poetry, welcoming us to consider how stories from the past live on in the land beneath our feet.

Still Life With Iris Nov. 17-19 UMD Marshall Performing Arts Family and sensory-friendly play follows a young girl on a quest to recover her stolen memories in the whimsical world of Nocturno, in which the workers make by night all the things we see in the world by day.

Sea Shanties & Singalongs Saturday, Nov. 18, 7 p.m. Wussow’s Third annual singalong with John Agacki, a former writer for “Prairie Home Companion” and now the lighthouse keeper for shanties and seafaring songs from the British Isles to New Zealand. He will be accompanied by Linda Crumpton.

Golden Hits III Saturday, Nov. 18, 7 p.m. St. Scholastica Mitchell Auditorium Musical chameleon Todd Eckart and band channel Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell in a concert presented by Duluth Sister Cities International.

Concert of Remembrance & Hope Sunday, Nov. 19, 3 p.m. Sacred Heart Dr. Charles Sundquist conducts a 16-voice choir with Rachael Kresha on the Felgemaker organ. They perform John Rutter’s 1985 “Requiem,” dedicating the show to victims of violence and intolerance across the world.

The Fall: A New Musical Nov. 19-21, 7:30 p.m. UMD Marshall Performing Arts A combination folk musical and contemporary play in which a teen discovers what it is to find his meaning and how two things can be true at once. Free admission.

Duluth Transit Authority Wednesday, Nov. 22, 7:30 p.m. The West Theatre Celebrate Drinksgiving with a wild rendition of the horn-playing rock band Chicago by a 12-piece local collective, with some Steely Dan, Blood Sweat & Tears and Ides of March thrown in.
