Taiko Arts Midwest, Tuesday, Oct. 3, 6 p.m. UWS Thorpe Langley Auditorium. High-energy Japanese drum group combines music, dance, martial arts, athletics and culture. They’ll host a workshop for the campus and community at 4 p.m. and a concert at 6 p.m., both free.

Annie Humphrey, Thursday, Oct. 5, 7 p.m. Sacred Heart. The Anishinaabe musician from Leech Lake releases her third album, “The Light in My Bones,” with a special concert to raise funds for the American Indian Community Housing Organization’s Dabnoo’igan shelter expansion.
