ArtCars
Aug. 17-19, Silver Bay
Local and visiting artists present their whimsical wheeled creations called ArtCars. Leading into the weekend will be an art discussion forum at Reunion Hall in Silver Bay on Thursday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m.  An evening ArtCar Sneak Peak opportunity takes place in downtown Silver Bay on Friday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m.  The full day exhibition takes place at the ArtCar Beach Bash at Black Beach on Saturday, August 19.

SubSuperior Underwater Music & Art Festival

A joyful celebration of art, community, science and wonder. Events take place on, in and around the water and feature antics from the Northland’s (and beyond) most absurd creators. Events include Music for Dolphins, a flotilla, fashion show, Café Scientifique, beach cleanup and underwater gallery for snorkelers. Times and locations are weather dependent, to be announced.
