Shakespeare in the State Park Friday, July 7, 5:30 p.m. Copper Falls State Park Saturday, July 8, 5:30 p.m. Amnicon Falls State Park Traveling production of “MacBeth” in 22 Wisconsin state parks. Workshop for both children and adults at 5:30 p.m., play at 7, both free with a park sticker.  

Dances on the Lakewalk Fri. & Sat., July 7 & 8, 7 p.m. Gichi-Ode’ Akiing (Lake Place Park) Freshwater Dance Collective has presented this summer event since 1996, as much of an artistic outlet and pride of the community as it is a passion for the artists.  

Kaleidoscope Tuesdays, July 11-25, 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. Duluth Public Library Outdoor shows for kids in the library pavilion downtown. The Dollipops July 11, Brodini the magician July 18, Circus Science Spectacular July 25.  

Caitlin Nicol-Thomas & Al Oikari Tues., July 11, 7 p.m., Wussow’s Weds., July 12, 5 p.m., Sir Benedict’s Nashville-based touring musician and actress teams up with the keyboardist of the jam band The Big Wu.  

La Boheme Thurs. July 13, 3 p.m. Mesabi East School, Aurora Friday, July 14, 7 p.m. Mesabi East School, Aurora Sunday, July 16, 4 p.m. Chisholm HS Auditorium World-beloved opera performed in Italian with English subtitles as part of the Northern Lights Music Festival. Thursday’s performance is a one-hour version for tweens and teens.  

Lutsong Music Festival July 13-16 Caribou Highlands, Lutsen Artisans, musicians, and music lovers all weekend with two stages, a vendor village, food, drink, and fun. Performers include Storyhill, Jeffrey Foucault, Kiss the Tiger, Wild Horses, The Scarlet Goodbye, Dusty Heart, Becky Kapell and Christopher David Hanson.
