A sad fact for a Superior
resident

Well I see that Mayor Paine has announced he will be seeking another term as mayor of Superior. I hope as do others here in Superior someone runs against him. He does things and then says what a great job he is doing for the average Superior resident. A sad fact. He is not for the ordinary resident. I walk and the construction of Tower Avenue and Belknap Street that was done a few years ago I see what has happened. The sidewalks are cracked, uneven and weeds growing out of them. What a total waste of taxpayers’ money. Now again we enter the snow season and again all the snow plowed from three lanes of Tower Avenue will be piled up on the sidewalks, plus all the ice chunks. He said it must be removed but they have a tough time moving it with a big front loader and it can be feet high plus all the crap from the street. I would like to see him remove it. They fined an entire street two years ago, including me, but they don’t fine anyone else on Belknap and by the DMV etc, and I have to walk in the street. I have voted for him like many residents because he said he would help us. Instead he fines us. I like my neighbors and a lot of residents feel that we were lied to and betrayed. He definitely won’t get my vote and I hope someone runs against him that will be for us.
