Bye, Bye, Nancy!
 
Similar to the 1963 hit musical called Bye, Bye, Birdie, America can now rejoice that Nancy Pelosi will no longer be the Speaker of the House. The midterm elections were not as expected but at least the Republicans won the majority in the House of Representatives. So, now Kevin McCarthy will become the Speaker of the House.

It was a few weeks ago where Kevin McCarthy announced his new legislative bill called “Commitment to America” which will include many investigations such as the politicization of the FBI (more than 14 whistleblowers are ready to testify); Anthony Fauci’s Wuhan Lab connections; Hunter Biden’s laptop which proves his connections (and Joe’s) with China; etc. This bill will also cancel many of the Biden Administrations negative legislations such as the hiring of 87,000 IRS agents to “audit” middle class Americans; cancel the college loan debt forgiveness action; etc.

This bill will also improve many other negative, leftist activities such as the border crisis, Big Tech censorship, COVID origins, Afghanistan withdrawal, voter ID requirements, attacks on the oil and coal industries.
The next 2 years of implementing this “Commitment to America” will be a testament to our great country and restore the respect for our Constitution (not 1619), restore our schools education curriculum policies (cancel CRT and gender identity) leading up to our new Republican President in 2024!

Community, compassion and lunch

When younger – I’m 85 now – I drove to eastern Kentucky schools – hill schools – to substitute teach.
There I witnessed the amazing positive effects of school lunches – a high percentage of children on “free” or “reduced” plans.
A beautiful “community” and “compassion” was growing in those lunch rooms – where great “home” cooks served the meals “made from scratch” in the kitchen!
The children from the “hollows” knew what vegetables were – and the aroma of fresh rolls from the ovens.
They walked quietly to and from the lunch rooms – and community – – compassion – acceptance of all – spread around the tables.
I read the problems of Las Vegas school lunches and even of “fast food”served in Lexington classrooms.
But the lunch rooms for the children of eastern Kentucky – children with only thin denim jackets to wait for morning buses – were a thing of beauty.
That silly Senator McConnell pushed for highways – but jobs didn’t follow except for a few in new Wal-Marts and fast food along the route. I hope it didn’t change the best of an area of poor children.
