Lilac Hill Greenhouse donated 1,000 pepper and tomato plants to Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank to provide to those in need of food assistance. The plants are available at Second Harvest, 4503 Airpark Boulevard, Duluth, through Tuesday, June 23.
Plants may be picked up by anyone needing food assistance. There are no income or residency restrictions to access the plants.
