Paul Craig Roberts is a highly respected economist who is now retired from teaching at universities and working in government economics-advisory positions (that he held under a variety of prominent Republican Party politicians - including Jack Kemp, Orrin Hatch, Ronald Reagan and others). Roberts was known as “the economic conscience of Ronald Reagan”. 

Roberts, just like a lot of retired folks that we might know, has been involved in an exciting new phase of his career. He is still highly respected, but his respect comes now from a new group of followers. His old followers call him a conspiracy theorist!
Roberts is now less politically connected, probably because he has now found the time (or the inclination) to become a more truly investigative journalist whose writings are not censored or banned or re-written by any editor, any publisher, any corporate advertiser or any corporate-infiltrated board of directors that might want to have input into his articles. 

The topics that Roberts chooses to write about are not dependent on his receiving a salary or a possible promotion from some profit-motivated, advertiser-dependent (and therefore corporate-controlled) media outlet. 
The type of journalism that Roberts practices these days is a distinct rarity both in today’s corporate-controlled media and today’s corporate-controlled healthcare systems. 
Roberts is still able to practice his whistle-blowing craft  which is now denied to courageous, whistle-blowers such as Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, etc. 
All whistle-blowers are regarded as a threat to the establishment and the assorted members of the secretive Deep State underworld (which includes the Pentagon, the CIA, the Secret Service, the Mossad, Big Businesses of all sorts, etc). Because of the perceived threat to their existence, wealth or power, the Deep State targets whistle-blowers for silencing (or extinction) by a multitude of invisible operatives in the New World Order.

Whistle-blowers have been demonized by the CIA after a multitude of truth-seekers saw through the many discrepancies in the conspiracy to assassinate president John F Kennedy in 1963. (The CIA is a government agency that is so top-secret that its enormous budget (estimated to be in the tens of billions of dollars every year) isn’t even decided – or even seen - by members of the US Congress. 

Why the CIA Invented the Term “Conspiracy Theorist” After the JFK Assassination

But it was the hidden ruling elites in the un-elected CIA that invented the term “conspiracy theorist”. 
It was that term “conspiracy theorist” that was invented and then used broadly to unfairly besmirch the reputations of the multitude of science-based truth-seekers that have debunked over and over again the “theory” that there was only one plotter/shooter/killer of JFK, MLK, RFK, Paul Wellstone, etc, etc. 

It could be fairly said of those that like to throw around the “conspiracy theorist” label (are you internet trolls listening?) that “methinks they doth protest too much.” (From Shakespeare’s Hamlet, one of whose characters justifiably suspected that, because another character was insisting too much about something, the opposite of what she was saying must be true.” - https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/the_lady_doth_protest_too_much

Despite the overwhelming evidence that has repeatedly debunked the single shooter “theories” of many political assassinations, corporate-controlled media types have played along with the Deep State. An therefore the “conspiracy theorist” term has been used over and over again to falsely accuse anybody with science-based evidence that could disprove a lot of “conventional wisdom” that propagandists in Big Business and Big Government have concocted to protect themselves, their power and wealth, their hidden agendas and their criminal/unethical activities. 

And the victims of these “power and control” elites and trolls that get their pro-corporate propaganda published regularly in WikiPedia and in the mainstream press are those of us who can easily prove - in an unbiased court of law – at least the following four conspiracies:

1) that the conspiracies to promote the irrational over-prescribing of Big Pharma’s neurotoxic psychiatric drugs by Big Psychiatry, Big Pharma and Big Media have been disastrous and often lethal (for more, go to https://www.transcend.org/tms/2018/08/14-lies-myths-that-big-pharma-and-their-paid-academic-psychiatrists-teach-medical-students/: 

2) that the over-vaccinating of our infants and children with cocktails of neurotoxic vaccines (and the cover-up of the reality that they have never been proven to be safe or effective long-term) has been a conspiracy between Big Vaccine, Big Medicine and Big Media which has been disastrous and often lethal (for more, go to: https://www.globalresearch.ca/comprehensive-list-vaccine-associated-toxic-reactions/5671539); 

3) that it is a provable conspiratorial lie that the long-lasting white trails that are seen in the sky behind some jet planes are condensation trails rather than caused by sprayed particulate chemical/metallic substances. These intermittently-visible trails are actually composed of a number of sprayed chemicals (commonly particulate aluminum) that persist in the atmosphere (as opposed to frozen water vapor which rapidly evaporates into invisibility). Also, all jet planes produce water vapor continuously from normal engine combustion, but it is rare that they produce the always brief contrails. Any clear-thinking, normally intelligent person should wonder why, if jets are flying in the sky every hour of every day, contrails aren’t showing up every hour of every day. In other words, “condensation trails” are simply frozen water vapor from normal engine combustion, but contrails only show up at extremely high, extremely cold altitudes. They cannot form at low altitudes, and never below 20,000 feet. 4) that the assertions and promises about the safety of experimental copper mining in water-rich northern Minnesota represented a conspiracy between various sectors of Big Mining (Iron Mining and Copper Mining) that involved two known-to-be disreputable transnational foreign copper mining corporations. Also likely involved were several of Minnesota’s un-elected pro-mining regulatory agencies) that approved, despite a lot of evidence for prohibiting the copper mine industry from going ahead with a, sulfuric acid-producing industry. Science-based objections from water-protecting activists that used as exhibits many mining disasters around the world that devastated the environment around the world were ignored. The fact that such mining will likely be catastrophic and even lethal to many forms of life can be substantiated in a court of law. The potential victims of such totally preventable, totally untreatable disasters include irreplaceable resources like the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Canada’s Quetico Provincial Park, the St Louis River estuary, Lake Superior and the economies, businesses, personal property, inhabitants and water resources (including fishing) of many downstream communities (a la the disasters caused by the tailings dam collapses of a number of Vale Mining corporation sites in Brazil (for more on the copper mining issue, go to: https://www.globalresearch.ca/third-brazilian-mine-tailings-dam-disaster-occur/5679748). 

And that short list above mentions just four examples of many other outrageous Big Corporate agendas that can easily be proven in an unbiased court of law that a large group of fellow activists that I have been associated with have been documenting for years, These honest and justifiably concerned groups of people have also been involved in many other outrageous, provably conspiratorial events that have violently changed the course of history. Included in that batch of probable conspiracies were the JFK, MLK, RFK and Wellstone assassinations, all the US wars, the Reichstag Fire false flag op, the cover-up of the 1967 attempt by Israel to sink the USS Liberty and, of course, the 9/11 conspiracy that John Paul Roberts writes about so eloquently below. 

Roberts and millions of others who see truth when they see it have studied the documentable facts concerning the events surrounding 9/11. He articulated the following statement in a 2014 interview with the equally courageous truth-teller Abby Martin (google her to read about her work): 

“During the decade that has passed (since 9/11), numerous 9/11 Truth organizations have formed.  There are Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Scholars for 9/11 Truth, Remember Building 7.org, and a New York group which includes 9/11 families. 
“These groups call for a real investigation.  David Ray Griffin has written 10 carefully researched books documenting problems in the government’s account. Scientists have pointed out that the government has no explanation for the molten steel. NIST has been forced to admit that WTC 7 was in free fall for part of its descent, and a scientific team led by a professor of nano-chemistry at the University of Copenhagen has reported finding nano-thermite in the dust from the buildings.  Larry Silverstein, who had the lease on the World Trade Center buildings, said in a PBS broadcast that the decision was made ‘to pull’ Building 7 late in the afternoon of 9/11.
“The neoconservatives who advocate America’s hegemony over the world called for ‘a new Pearl Harbor’ that would allow them to launch wars of conquest … 
“No evidence exists that supports the government’s 9/11 story … On this 12th anniversary of a false-flag event, it is unnecessary for me to report the voluminous evidence that conclusively proves that the official story is a lie. You can read it for yourself. It is available online.
“The American people have suffered a coup d’etat, but they are hesitant to acknowledge it. The regime ruling in Washington today lacks constitutional and legal legitimacy. Americans are ruled by usurpers.”

Practicing that type of clear-headed thinking when doing journalism made Roberts morph into a whistle-blower on the establishment (for which the CIA, back in the days following the JFK assassination, when many people noted that the evidence for the concocted single-shooter “non-conspiracy” theory didn’t match the facts invented the term “conspiracy theorist” in order to discredit truth-seekers and truth-tellers that have a solemn duty to warn that has the capa. In an article titled The Looting Machine Called Capitalism (April 2017). he admits that he has changed his mind about economic theory. wrote 

“I have come to the conclusion that capitalism is successful primarily because it can impose the majority of the costs associated with its economic activities on outside parties and on the environment. In other words, capitalists make profits because their costs are externalized and born by others. In the US, society and the environment have to pick up the tab produced by capitalist activity.
 “In actual fact, Americans are the least exceptional people in human history. Americans have no rights at all. We hapless insignificant beings have to accept whatever capitalists and their puppet government impose on us. And we are so stupid we call it “Freedom and Democracy America.”

Roberts is popular with his independent-thinking, starved-for-truth, dues-paying readers and the ruling elites that control virtually all of the major media these days has no power over him. Therefore, he isn’t dependent on any corporate salary (and therefore is not subject to their censorship) that most reporters and journalists depend on (and therefore have to submit to). 

So Roberts can be depended upon to tell his well-researched and well-thought-out version of what makes the headlines and gets repeated over and over again by the multitude of co-opted journalists. On January 4, 2019 Roberts wrote an article entitled “9/11: Finally the Truth Comes Out”. 
That article is about the truth, justice and reconciliation-seeking efforts of many sincere researchers that know, without a doubt, that the events of 9/11/2001 were a false flag operation and therefore the use of it to invade Afghanistan and the Middle East was likely a conspiracy. One can expect that the efforts of the Lawyers Committee for 9-11 Inquiry will be falsely labeled as a conspiracy theory and thus not be covered by any of the cowardly, co-opted, corporate-controlled mainstream media.

One was the conclusion by the Select Committee on Assassinations that President Kennedy was the victim of a conspiracy and not of a lone gunman. The other was the release of the top secret Project Northwoods, which revealed the Joint Chiefs’ plan presented to President Kennedy for the US government to kill US citizens and shoot down US airliners and place the blame on Castro in order to gain public acceptance for an invasion of Cuba.
“The conclusion that a conspiracy, although unidentified, was involved in Kennedy’s assassination was the sop thrown to those who disputed the official lone gunman account. The revelation of Project Northwoods created awareness of a previously unknown US government plot that drew attention away from Kennedy’s assassination.
“If the Lawyers’ Committee and the 9/11 truthers trust the US Attorney to go entirely by the facts, little will come of the grand jury. If the United States had a rule of law, something as serious as 9/11 could not have gone for 17 years without investigation.”
