A social hour will follow the readings, providing a chance to talk with the authors, have them sign copies of their books, explore the topics of the books further, and connect with colleagues from across campus.

Duluth artist Ray Allard lived in South Africa and interviewed key black and white artists about their creative responses to censorship and racial separation during the apartheid era. The presentation is held in collaboration with the Mandela Centenary Committee-Duluth.
