Book release: Marcie Rendon & Vern Northrup

Marcie R. Rendon, author of "Girl Gone Missing," is an enrolled member of the White Earth Anishinabe Nation. Her first novel, "Murder on the Red River," won the Pinckley Prize for Debut Crime Fiction. Vern Northrup is a visual storyteller releasing his new photography collection, "Akinomaage."

SunFUNday: Art for All Ages

The September SunFUNday kicks off the year with our very special guest artist, Anna Sörenson. Anna began the ‘Neverending Book’ conceptual project in 2010. Children and families will be able to view Sörenson's exhibit at the Nordic Center and create contemporary mixed media watercolor painting inspired by Sörenson ‘s colorful and playful work. Pre-registration is recommended by emailing aaune@d.umn.edu but walk-ins accepted.
