HillFest

It’s back for its 10th year. HillFest is an annual neighborhood street festival for anybody who lives, works, or enjoys the Hillside. This year’s HillFest features over 30 vendor booths, food trucks and a stage with the following performances: 2:00 Cedar Creek Drums Group 2:45 BOLD-Choice Theatre 3:30 Jaxon Gardner "JayGee" 4:30 Boku Frequency 5:15 Tofu Toss Food vendors, arts and crafts will be onsite beginning at 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Free, family-friendly activities include live entertainment on stage, assorted games, a bouncy house, rock climbing wall, Duluth East Daredevils Robotics Team and a youth 3on3 hoops tournament. The annual fundraising Tofu Toss will start at 5:15 p.m.

Sami Artists Picnic & Program

Picnic begins at 2:30 p.m. with the program at 3:30 p.m. It will feature an overview of the work of Sami artist Nils Skum (1872-1951) and contemporary Sami artist, cartographer, and writer Han Ragnar Mathisen. The event is free and all are welcome.
