River Rovers Nature Play Group

The Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve offers the River Rovers Nature Playgroup for children ages 3-7 starting Thursday, June 20 and running every Thursday through August 29. Parents or guardians should be in attendance with their children for the duration of the program. No registration is necessary. Attendance is free and snacks are provided.

At the Center of It All: Women on the Iron Range

Historian Pam Brunfelt tells of the critical function of women and their contributions to establishing the Iron Range. There will be limited theater-style seating (no tables), but feel free to bring your own bag lunch. Seating is first-come, first-served (no reservations). ARCO coffee is provided.

"Dylan & Me" author lecture

The Duluth Dylan Fest is hosting a special John Bushey Memorial Encore Lecture with the author of "Dylan & Me," Louis Kemp. The event will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with music by Gene LaFond, Amy Grillo and David Ernest Bennett, followed by the lecture from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

"Blessed" is part of the music ministry of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Members of the band will be traveling to Puerto Rico in November for a missions trip. Any donations will be used to help with that project.
