Learn to Curl

Learn to curl with certified instructors at the Duluth Curling Club - home of the 2018 Olympic gold medalists! The Club will provide the necessary equipment, all you need is a medium weight sweater or light jacket and a pair of very clean shoes (we keep our ice spotless, no street shoes, please). Online registration required.

Final Fairlawn Garden Work Day

We need your help! We are looking for volunteers to help us maintain Fairlawn’s beautiful gardens. No experience necessary! Just bring gloves and any tools if you have them. 10th Annual Suicide Awareness Memorial Walk

Annual free event in memory of loved ones lost to suicide and for awareness and education towards prevention. The walk will begin and end at Carlton High School. Refreshments and a short educational/remembrance presentation from Cassie Diver, a parent survivor, will follow the walk.

Free Family Art Day

Cartoon Pop Art Show with Beatles animator Ron Campbell

In honor of Yellow Submarine’s 50th anniversary, Ron Campbell, one of its animators as well as the director of the 1960’s Saturday Morning Beatles Cartoon series will make a rare appearance. He will showcase his Beatles cartoon paintings as well as feature other artwork based on his 50-year career in cartoons including Scooby Doo, Rugrats, Smurfs, Flintstones, Jetsons and more.

Soles to the Polls: A Get Out the Vote Festival
