Meteor Volunteer Work Weekend

Join a great group of volunteers from Superior Public Museums, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Preservation Society and the Lake Superior Marine Association for this year’s annual clean-up of the SS Meteor. Bring your painting clothes. Lunch is provided both Saturday and Sunday. Please register at GLSPS.org. For more information call 715-394-5712.

Independent Bookstore Day

Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country. At Zenith Bookstore we'll have local authors, food and drink, give-aways, exclusive merchandise, and even a lovely labradoodle! All day!

Ruby's Pantry

Ruby's Pantry Food Distribution is now happening EVERY 4th Saturday at 11:00 AM, beginning June 24th, 2017 in the neighborhood of Fond Du Lac at the Fond Du Lac Community Church just off of Hwy 23 about 1/2 mile before the Mont Du Lac Ski Hill. For only a $20 Donation you will get an abundance of food. Volunteers are also needed each month to help unload the truck and to help distribute the food.

Free Family Art Day

The Duluth Art Institute hosts four Free Family Art Days each year at our Lincoln Park location. Everyone is invited to drop-in for make-and-take art projects. The April session will be themed around Earth Day and will include activity options helping to prepare for the upcoming Magic Smelt Parade!

Spirit of the Lake Community School Spring Tea

Join us at the lower level of Kenwood Lutheran Church where SLCS Grade 6 students will be serving tea and fancy desserts made by our families and local musicians will be performing. Dress up in your best tea party outfit (optional) and enjoy social time out with your friends and family! Tickets include two desserts (gluten-free and vegan options available) and a bottomless cup of tea.
