Inspired by ancient mythologies, eastern miniatures, whirling dervishes, geometry, architecture, and the figure, Fatih Benzer’s paintings build a bridge between the multicultural worlds of East and West. Realism and abstraction blend seamlessly to create a doorway into a world that is truly unique.

Reception for “Laurentian: Paul LaJeunesse & Lake Superior Wood Turners” & Faith King Exhibit

The Laurentian Mixed Forest Province celebrates the wild woodland surrounding Duluth with five new paintings by Paul LaJeunesse, correlating sound-based works, and turned wood pieces by the Lake Superior Wood Turners. Alson on view is Faith King’s new exhibit around Ekphrastic Poetry including 10 of her original poems and 10 works of art-- five by local artists and five by King.

Tischer Photographic Gallery GRAND OPENING

Tischer Photographic Gallery is having a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, November 16th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, featuring tours of the new printing and framing studio and complimentary refreshments. The gallery will exclusively feature the award-winning landscape photography of Ryan Tischer, known for his iconic large-scale images of the Lake Superior region and across North America.
