DSSO's Inspiration

During the summer of 1788 Mozart was blessed with divine inspiration: Over the course of just three months he completed his final three symphonies, each one an absolute masterpiece. We pair his Symphony No.39 with two compositions, inspired by music from Argentina: Golijov’s Last Round and Piazzolla’s Oblivion. Finally, we are thrilled to welcome back Abraham Feder in Schumann’s Cello Concerto.
