Parents and Pals Playtime

These events will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30am-11:30am starting on October 3rd, 2017. Here are a few details about our new program: - Parents and preschool-aged children are invited to come and play - Our fellowship hall will be converted into a play area with toys and flooring - Coffee and snacks will be available - This isn't childcare: parents must be present

As Above, So Below -- Paintings by Karen Owsley Nease

Describing her large-scale paintings of waves, Karen Owsley Nease says “I approach the immediate landscape in much the same way as a naturalist. Instead of words, I use paint. Through concentrated observation of the natural phenomena in my surroundings, I deepen my understanding of the larger system as a whole. My artwork is an act of witness.”

Join us for Healthcare Career Night on Tuesday, October 24, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Lake Superior College’s main campus. Learn about healthcare careers and the programs we offer. You’ll also get the opportunity to: visit with faculty; take a tour of our main campus; talk to an advisor; get information about admissions, financial aid and academic support and participate in healthcare simulations.

Tami Love Benefit

Fundraiser! In March 2017,business owner and community activist, Tami LaPole Edmunds, was diagnosed with lymphoma. Cancer has devastated Tami emotionally, physically and financially. She needs our help to continue to heal and sparkle again. Once free from the heavy burden of massive medical bills,Tami will be able to return to spreading love and beauty through her one-of-a-kind creations.
