UMD Entrepreneurship Conference

The UMD Entrepreneurship Conference brings together Twin Ports students, educators, entrepreneurs and innovators for a one-day event. Conference goers will hear from talented national, local, and regional entrepreneurs that are making an impact in their respective industries. The UMD Conference is 100% student run and is an initiative of the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE).

These events will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30am-11:30am starting on October 3rd, 2017. Describing her large-scale paintings of waves, Karen Owsley Nease says “I approach the immediate landscape in much the same way as a naturalist. Instead of words, I use paint. Through concentrated observation of the natural phenomena in my surroundings, I deepen my understanding of the larger system as a whole. My artwork is an act of witness.”
