September 12 Window to the West: Nik Nerburn & Brad Tollefson @Esmond Building, 2001 W Superior St

The Duluth Art Institute’s Lincoln Park Craft District artist in residence, Nik Nerburn, has been taking Polaroid pictures of people and places in Lincoln Park. These images will be on view in a pop-up exhibit in the storefront windows of the Esmond, along with paintings by neighborhood artist and Seaway Hotel Apartments resident Brad Tollefson. Join the DAI for a sidewalk reception.

Open Paddle

Ever paddled a dragon boat before? Now is your chance to try! Our aim is to help everyone no matter their skill level or comfort on the water learn how to paddle. You don't even need to know how to swim! Join us every Tuesday at 6:30 at Barker's Island near the Pavilion and the research buildings for a fun, free night of paddling. We have all the equipment, so you don't have to bring a thing!

Superior Shorts

Superior Shorts is an evening of short fiction brought to life by local performing artists on the Teatro stage. The literature is presented around a theme chosen to captivate and move audiences. The theme of our fourth Evening of Superior Shorts is "Devil May Care," curated by Amber Snow and Becky Nelson.
