After a decade as a private event amongst friends and family,  this year’s concert will be open to the public for the first time. The line up features artists with roots in both Minnesota and Texas. Carlson Family and Friends, Emily Haavik & the 35s, The Hill Country Hustlers, Noel McKay & Brennen Leigh, Steven James and The Revival.

Started in 2003 as a Fourth of July party on Island Lake for friends and family, the Texasota Independence Jam soon became a community event spread by word of mouth. As the years passed, residents from all around the lake would come and “crash” the party.
